Neda Moftakhari is an Iranian-Canadian Artist, painter and Illustrator located in Toronto. She began to explore her deep interest in art when she was 12 years old. Her dream was to be an artist so she opened her first art studio at the age of 18 and she successfully thought hundreds of students in her homeland, Iran. She graduated as a software engineer while she kept going to improve her drawing and painting skills. She studied art under well-known and professional artists. When she immigrated to Canada, she studied independent illustration at Seneca which opened a huge opportunity for her next step. As an illustrator who creates characters, storyboards, children's books, comics and spot illustrations, she deeply understands the student’s needs in the modern world.

She likes to demonstrate her experiences, feelings and thoughts through her illustrations and paintings.  She likes to use mixed media and textures in her illustrations through traditional and digital media.
